I'm not normally into these kind of movies but this one left me on the edge of my seat!! Constant action, not for the faint of heart, definitely made for the big screen.

If you were raised through the 80' and early 90's you will absolutely love this film! This film contains every element of the classic action film making era at it's finest, The guns, guts and glory element of this film doesn't miss a beat and leaves the crowd cheering for the main down and out character (Jack) who coincidentally loves his "Jack" Daniels. I watched this film at the Toronto After Dark Film Festival and was left at the edge of my seat from the time some cyber Y2k mystery game show takes over his electronics on New years eve until the bitter sweet mysterious ending. The name of the game was death and Jack has sixty minutes to test his will and fate against some very brute and believable looking assassins! My favourite of all of the assassins is the two navy seals who enter the house to kill Jack. They had this great believable look to them because of the thick burly beards they sported, a look like they had been out to sea for years! One of the guy's could really kick ass and I wouldn't want to meet him in a dark ally! The gun fire and explosions looked and sounded real! Some great CGI work that will defiantly trick the human eye! Without giving any spoilers you should keep an eye out for the cowboy's boot! Another great move on these new film makers part. The look and feel of the movie in general took me back in time without being overly exaggerated like most new film makers would do! It had a nice steady pace once the action kicked in! I would defiantly pay to see this at the cinema again because it was one of very few indy films that kept me glued to the screen with it's look and great sound! -Film Jedi
