    If Beale Street Could Talk

I don't understand the hype about this movie. I was really looking forward to seeing it but was disappointed. It was so slow and melodramatic. "The Green Book" was so much better in depicting the struggle and racist issues that black Americans dealt with every day.

ok the leading man is a hunk. The special effects are fantastic but you blow thru some of the effects so fast it's hard to take it all in. If you are prone to motion sickness take something for it before you go. if the sound of running water affects you be aware it is an almost constant background noise. It has a moral but the plot is thin.

    The Upside

If there was a prior film I have never seen it. That out of the way, I would like to say that I appreciated the message, the acting, and the emotional content of the movie. If you are a person of tender feelings take Kleenex.

Pretty out there movie but you gotta love Keanu Reaves. If this is the future, itís kind of scary but still a cool story and good cast.

Like Clint Eastwood but the nudity and him with the girls was discusting. To much bad language.

    Second Act

5 stars. The performance was great. It was SO funny. It had a touch of everything, hopes, dreams, love, laughter and affirmation for those who feel that obstacles in pursue of your dreams can be overcome. There is a message here for everyone. Your down, you rise, you fall, and you overcome!

Had not heard anything about this movie before I saw it. Clearly liberal and shows the disrespect we have come to tolerate. Stayed until the end to get my wasted moneys worth. Shame on Hollywood.
